Kids Dinner Recipes; Hamburgers

So your toddler is growing up and is eating a variety of different foods? Well this is the time to get them involved in the preparation of their own food. These kids dinner recipes are a great way to get started.

500 g beef mince
1 very finely chopped onion
1/2 t garlic
1 cup oat bran or bread crumbs
1 egg
Fresh chopped parsley

2 hamburger buns per person. 2 potatoes per person for chips or a packet of oven chips.
Oil to deep fry
Sliced onions
Sliced tomatoes
Sliced pickles
Shredded lettuce

Pink Sauce (made by mixing 2 parts mayonnaise with 1 part tomato sauce)

Mix all the burger patties ingredients together. Shape into flat circles just big enough to fit the buns. Fry gently on both sides or bake in a hot oven.

Slice the potatoes into chips and deep fry. These take the longest to get them crispy, so do them first.
